If You Want to Enter a Trophy into Rowland Ward’s Records of Big Game, Follow These Steps:
1. Make sure the 30-day drying out period from shooting has elapsed.
2. See above for which method for measuring applies to the particular species in question, and print out the appropriate form. Do a rough measurement yourself to see if the head makes the minimum to qualify. Minimums are listed on this website under “Record Book and World Records.”
3. Take the trophy to an official measurer to be measured.
4. Confirm the minimum is reached.
5. Follow the instructions on the General and Specific Measuring instructions exactly. As a reminder, both the hunter and the measurer need to sign the form.
6. Submit the form along with the entry fee to Rowland Ward Ltd., 15621 Chemical Lane, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, USA.
